And just like that, the winds have cooled and the leaves have turned from green to yellow and red. The mornings and evenings are a darker shade of gray as the days shorten. All around the Pacific Northwest, the yellow leaves of Ash and Birch and Aspen are popping yellow against the dark evergreen background of the conifers.
It’s candle season. Sure, every season is candle season, but in the fall and winter the warm glow of your favorite candle imbues the environment with the sense of calm comfort we most need in the colder months.
I wanted to share some of my favorite fall items with you, with the hope that you’ll enjoy the season as much as I intend to do. Each one of these carefully selected items has brought me joy, warmth, and comfort in these early autumn days.
